Today Birch class visited Sacrewell Farm to find out where food comes from. We started with a tour of the water mill and saw how wheat is ground into flour and saw the bakery where they still bake bread. We then went on a tractor ride and saw the crops growing in the fields and orchard as well as a red kite searching for its lunch!
After lunch we visited the different animals before walking around the mill pond, where we discovered a woven house and collected lots of amazing treasures. We finished off the day with a chance to climb trees and build dens. We were having so much fun we didn’t want leave.
