School Ethos

Dudley House School is sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and is affiliated to a world-wide educational system of schools, colleges and universities.

Adventist education is based on the belief that each child is unique and of immeasurable worth, so the systematic development of the whole person is all important. Pupils are taught to be sensitive to the needs of others, to make a positive contribution to their community, to care for the world we live in and to accept that serving others is a principle of life.

Our school is inclusive and welcomes all pupils. Our teaching and faith values the family and promotes respect for all. Through worship and school life we work in partnership with families to raise responsible, well rounded, balanced children.

‘Behaviour is outstanding and the Christian ethos gives pupils a strong sense of right and wrong.’ Ofsted
