The children thoroughly enjoyed tucking into a bowl of nourishing, vegetable soup at lunchtime today. Why you may ask.
During RE yesterday the children in Class 3 delved into their Bibles to discover what different Bible authors had written about God. They learnt that God is love, made us, is powerful, forgives us, is always with us, and wants to be our friend.
Each message was like a piece of nourishing food. So, as they discovered each message they cut up and added a different vegetable to the pan and the messages became mixed in to become a nourishing soup, that was shared with all the children in school today.
We hope that in the years to come that the Bible messages will continue nourishing the children and helping their friendship with Jesus grow.
