School begins promptly at 8.45 am and ends at 3.30 pm Monday to Thursday. On Friday the finishing time is 12.45 pm. On Friday afternoon there is an optional Friday club from 12:45 to 3:30 pm.
Daily Routine
Here is the usual pattern for the school day. Timings during the day sometimes vary because of special events.
| 8:15 | The side gate is opened at 8:15 for children needing before school care. Children walk up the drive to the playground where they are supervised by a member of staff. |
| 8:40 | Children should arrive at 8:40am and walk up to the playground. The gate will be locked and children will go through the hall door to their classrooms. |
| On wet days children should come through the front door (which will be unlocked) and go to the hall where they will be supervised. | |
| 8:45 | The school day begins for everyone. |
| 8:50 | Lessons / learning begins. |
| 9:50 | Collective worship for all children. |
| 10:15 | Reception and KS1 Phonics. KS2 lessons. |
| 10:40 | Playtime. |
| 10:55 | Lessons / learning continue. |
| 12:00 | Lunchtime. |
| 1:00 | Lessons / learning start for the afternoon. |
| 3:30 | School ends, unless children are staying for afterschool care. |
At the end of the day, the side gate will be opened and children in classes 1, 2 & 3 can collected by parents from their classroom door. Children in class 4 should be collected from the main school entrance.
Clubs

Children staying for clubs should be collected from the main school entrance.
Parents should note that late collections from either school, at the end of the day or from Afterschool Clubs will result in a subsequent fee: £2.50 per half hour or part thereof.
