This afternoon, Class 4 made coil points. They wedged the clay, before rolling the base and using a tool to cut the slab to the correct dimensions. After making coils, they scored the edges and used slip to fix these in place. They ensured the coils were blended together to avoid cracking in the drying process, before smoothing with a sponge ready for decorating after half term.
