Well done to all the children who were in the Golden Book today. We are very proud of you.
A gold certificate was also awarded today, to a child who had manged to collect 60 stickers. Well done.

The nursery and reception children in Hazel class have performed for their parents this morning. They have been learning all about Winter and their class assembly mirrored this. They sang songs, danced and acted too.

Hazel class children have come back to school with lots of enthusiasm after the Christmas break. Here are pictures of some of the things we have been doing.
We are also busy practising for our assembly which will be next Wednesday morning.

After a delicious festive feast, the children spent the afternoon playing a variety of traditional party games together. The children also worked in house teams to complete challenges and create thier own snowman using PE equipment they had collected. A lovely time was had by all.

Last night each class performed a selection of songs, poems and a hand chime piece entitled ‘Joy to the world’, to a full congregation.
All the children then joined together to tell the story of ‘The Landlord’s Cat’ through drama, dance and song.
Thank you to everyone who came and supported another wonderful performance by the children of Dudley House School.

Today Oak class created Christmas cards. One with a secular theme and the other with a sacred theme.

Tonight the children learnt to roll and cut pastry out, create pie cases and fill them with mincemeat to make mince pies. They smelt delicious.

This morning the children from Birch and Oak class visited our neighbours at Martin Court and sang a selection of Christmas songs. As well as spreading Christmas cheer to our neighbours, several of the children commented on their return to school how much they had enjoyed the visit.
