Bubble Investigations

Today science club investigated bubbles. They realised that even with a square or rectangular hole the bubble created was still a sphere.

Leaf Observation

This evening, science club observed the structure of leaves by taking rubbings and making booklets.

Maths in the Sun

Today Oak Class enjoyed maths in the sun. They measured the capacity of different containers and used solid objects to investigate water displacement.

 

Golden Book Achievers

Well done to all the children who were in the Golden Book today and last week.

Parachute Investigations

This week children in science club designed and made thier own parachutes. They then tested them outside to see how well they worked.

Stop Motion Animations

This afternoon, Oak class used the iPads to create stop motion animations.

Egyptian Class Assembly

Thank you to all the children in Oak class who shared their learning about the Egyptians this morning in assembly. It was amazing.
The headdresses, belt and other Egyptian jewellery they had made was beautiful.

Small School Athletics

Well done to all the children who represented the school at the Small School Athletics at The Meres on Friday afternoon.

 

Tennis Tournament

Four children represented the school at a Tennis Tournament at Grantham Tennis Club this afternoon and were delighted to win some of their matches. Well done to the children for playing well and being good sporting ambassadors.
