A Visit From a Builder!

What a treat! In Class 1 today we had a special visitor. One of our parents, Mr Welbourn, came to talk to us about his work and brought along some of his tools for the children to see. He chatted about the kind of things he makes and fixes. This fitted beautifully with our ‘Can we fix it’ topic. The children listened and enjoyed seeing the different tools. They even got to safely try some out. They asked him some questions and also showed him the workshop we have set up in our classroom.
Thank you very much for coming and spending time with us Mr Welbourn – we loved it.
