Class 2 Walk in the Park

Today Class 2 enjoyed a walk to Wyndham Park, looking for treasures and signs of Autumn on their way.

PTFA Family Fun

This evening we all had lots of fun taking part in a range of activities organised by the PTFA. Family teams started by taking part in a range of activities, such as target golf, a hockey relay and beanbag tossing, before joining with a partner to play family football. After refreshments we just had time for a sack and egg and spoon races, before sadly it was time to go home. It was great to meet together again as a school family and have fun together.

Class 3 Art

The children in Class 3 have been using their fingers and other implements to recreate an Impressionist style in our Landscapes topic for Art this Autumn term.

Class 3 Visit Wyndham Park

This week, as part of their English topic, Class 3 took a stroll to Wyndham Park. They will be using their experiences to write a recount in the style of Anthony Browne’s book Voices in the Park.

Art Club

In art club today, the children thought about harvest time and made model scarecrows.

Class 4 Sculpture

As part of their sculpture unit this term, Class 4 made foil men in the style of Alberto Giacometti.

Class 4 Fossils

In science, Class 4 has been thinking how scientists find out about extinct animals. They made their own replica fossils.

Celebrating Achievements

All the children received certificates for their amazing achievements in our Celebration Assembly this morning. Three trophies were also presented, the ‘Arnott Award for Excellence and Endeavor’, the ‘White Progress Award’ and the ‘Curriculum Achievement’ trophy. Well done everyone for your amazing achievements this year.

Celebration Assembly

We were delighted to welcome parents into school this morning for our Celebration Assembly. Children performed a number of items, received certificates and said goodbye to much loved pupils and staff who were moving on from our school family.
