Cafe Leo Visit
14 Nov 2018
The nursery and reception children in Hazel class visited Café Leo this morning. The children used the menu to order their own treat and drink and paid for their food themselves.
They looked at a real café and are going to add some more things to our café in school. We are going to label and price our cakes and put a number on our table.
Thank you to all the staff at Café Leo who made us very welcome.

Diwali
8 Nov 2018
The Nursery and Reception children in Hazel Class have been learning about Diwali this week. They have listened to the Rama and Sita story, made Diwali cards, as well as decorating mehndi hands and making rangoli patterns. The children also made their own salt dough to make a diva and then painted and decorated it.
3rd Place in Poetry Competition
8 Nov 2018
Dudley House are proud of our pupils achievement! Recently all the pupils in Birch and Oak class entered, The Willoughby Memorial Trust poetry competition for Lincolnshire schools on our poetry day back in October. This competition was judged by Chris Martin, Stamford Poet Laureate.
We were especially proud when a letter arrived today inviting a pupil to read her poem at a Prize-giving Evening on Friday 23th November 2018. Well done on achieving 3rd in your category!

Enthused by Learning

It’s so lovely when children are so engaged with learning that they create additional homework pieces.
In Oak Class, we are learning about space in science and using Scratch to create simulations during computing lessons. Here is a screenshot of a Scratch programming that one pupil completed at home.
