Child Protection and Safeguarding

At Dudley House School we are committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our pupils.

We expect all members of our school community to share in this commitment.

We see this as:

“…everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children. In order to fulfil this responsibility effectively, all professionals should make sure their approach is child-centred. This means that they should consider, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child.”
Keeping Children Safe In Education

Dudley House School takes safeguarding very seriously. Our staff are fully trained in safeguarding and child protection procedures, including E-Safety and Prevent‚ and are vigilant in their duty of care. We practice safer recruitment when hiring new staff. Abuse/neglect of children will not be tolerated in this school and it will be reported.
