Class 4

Children standing on a bridge over a pond outside to Holocaust centre at Laxton

Welcome to class 4.  We are a small class of children in years 5 and 6.  Our teacher is Mrs Harding.

During the summer term of 2017, our topic is The Victorians.  We will learn about Queen Victoria and her family, and what life was like for people during those times.  We will visit Belton House and experience life ‘upstairs and downstairs’.  We will learn about the work of William Morris and design and print our own William Morris style paper. In science, we will learn about how we see things and investigate the direction light travels in.  After half term, we will learn about the planets in the solar system and the moon and how it influences our seasons.

Class 4 at Belton House

Before the end of the summer term, Class 4 will be holding a Victorian Day for the children to experience what a Victorian school felt like.
