Belton House Visit
Today, class 4 spent the day at Belton House. They were able to dress up and find out what life was like for the Brownlow family during Victorian times. Afterwards, we went downstairs where they dressed up as maids and servant boys (unfortunately no photos were allowed downstairs) and learnt what life was like for the servants and how different it was to life upstairs. After lunch, the children completed an i-spy leaflet, looking at the nature around Belton, before ending the day in the playground. They were commended for their excellent behaviour by the volunteers at Belton, resulting in a very proud teacher!
